Dream Talkin’ - Family Trees
![]()
Father Daughter Records is rocking my face off as of late with some wonderful tracks. They just sent over Family Trees Dream Talkin’, you should definitely take a listen, then head over here and purchase their 7” if you haven’t already. Hopefully there are still some around when I get to Baltimore and get a record player set up in my room, that would just be marvelous.
The sounds coming from Family Trees make me feel like a pretty little girl on the inside. Just so you know. Check it out.
Skin - Tooth Ache

A fresh hot track that just arrived in my inbox. Tooth Ache is from Vermont and their 7”, Skin, is releasing this tuesday on Father Daugher Records. Check out some more of her tracks on her myspace, and be sure to pick up one of the limited copies of the 7”, only 400 made.
Light Pollution - Good Feelings
I blogged the music video for this tune a while back when I found out Light Pollution was opening for Neon Indian in Pittsburgh. I got the opportunity to see them again when they played with Cults at Skullys last Tuesday. I’ve never seen anyone pound the drums like Matt Evert (far right) before. His style reminds me so much of Animal from the Muppets, flying sticks, intense expression and all. Keep an eye on jackinthepocket.com for my interview with them in the coming weeks.
Light Pollution’s debut album, Apparitions, is available now through Carpark Records.
This right here. This is nice.
Talking Walking Cloud - Dustin Wong

New track from the upcoming Dustin Wong Release. All guitar, pretty unbelievable until you see it live and done right in front of your eyes. Really, really amazing. Check out Talking Walking Cloud and look out for his upcoming release Infinite Love.
This went up a few days ago. But I still have the need to tell you all about it.
Sunburn - Beat Connection

My apologies for not posting much recently, life has been rough on me the past few days. But the good news is I’ve been able to catch up on some recordings that I’ve missed from awhile ago. Like these diamonds in the world, Beat Connection. Its great to listen to whenever you can, their EP, Surf Noir, is also available for free on their bandcamp, and thats always the nicest.
